Attempted Theft of Catalytic Converter.

At 21:50pm on Sunday the 8th February 2026 a male was disturbed whilst cutting the Catalytic converter off a vehicle parked on HAWK STREET, in Carnforth

The male was described as being scruffy, white, 6 foot 2" tall, wearing a red coat and carrying a plastic carrier bag. Once disturbed, the male walked up HAWK STREET towards NORTH ROAD and left the area prior to police arrival.

Just wanted you to be aware, so if you hear power tools being used outside your home please take a look. If you see anyone underneath a vehicle or acting suspiciously, then please report it to the police, so we can come and check.
